many programs to choose from such as: Youth/Teen Leaders Club,
Club '812, Youth Achievers Program, Tween Club, and more. With
so many options…why wouldn’t teens want to be at the YMCA. Have

Splash Parties
(Ages 7-12)
Every month the YMCA hosts a theme Splash Party for
children. Enjoy a DJ, dancing, free snacks and
activities relating to the theme. Pizza, candy and
soda are sold at the snack bar. The pool is
available at scheduled times during the evening.
Every event has trained staff to supervise swimming,
games and other activities. All parties are held
7-10pm.

Club '812' (Ages 8-12)
Meet new friends, socialize, participate in a variety of
activities, and enjoy a trip each session. Activities may
include: swimming, teambuilding exercises, video games, crafts,
sports, special events and more.

Days:
Saturdays 11am-2pm
Tween Club (Ages 9-12)
Join this club for youth who are interested in helping out with
YMCA programs as well as assisting in planning big events. We will have
occasional trips and plan events at the YMCA.
Days:
Mondays 4-5pm

2D/3D Art (Ages 10-13)
Be inspired by famous artists and create 2 and
3-Dimensional works through drawing, painting and
sculpting.

Teens Tasty Treats
(Ages 10-13)
Teens plan and prepare meals with creative cooking.

Teen Hip Hop/Jazz
(Ages 11-14)
Learn to move combining jazz and Hip Hop to the
sounds of today’s hits.

Youth Strength Training
(Ages 12-14)
Members can take this beginner class and meet with a
certified trainer to develop safe exercise
strategies. Meets twice per week. Limited to 6
participants.

Tues-Friday 4-5pm, choose 2 days

Teen Leaders Club (Ages
13-17)
Join our club for teens eager to make a
difference in their community as well as take charge in leadership and focus on
character development. Meet weekly to plan out events…participate in YMCA
Leaders' Club retreats too!

Youth Achievers
This program will reach diverse communities, across our service area, to provide
educational enrichment and career awareness activities for our youth. The
following are some of the goals of the program:

Develop educational and career aspirations of youth

Meet professionals who have achieved success in their careers
»
Engage Achievers in community service to benefit youth and
promote mentoring
relationships between youth and professionals
Who Can Participate?
The YMCA Youth Achievers program is open to youth in middle and high schools,
from all social, economic and academic levels. The only true requirement a youth
must have in order to enroll in the program is the desire to achieve!
