Youth Development
Sports Classes
More important than ever, children need to be involved
in activities that will challenge them with enough physical
activity to keep fit and fight obesity! No matter what
the child’s age or ability, they will learn character
values, sportsmanship and new skills in our youth sports
activities.

Gym and Swim
(ages 3-5)
Gym class activities followed by a swim
lesson. Parents must take their child to
swim class.

Basics of hockey (dribbling, passing,

Beginner T-Ball

Fundamentals class. Glove required.

Beginner karate program teaching focus,

Learn Tae Kwon Do and Sports Karate. Forms,

forms, sparring and self defense. Continuous
program to earn your black belt. Follows two
sessions of Kid Kicks Karate program.

Youth Strength Training
(ages 12-14)
Members can take this beginner class and meet
with a certified trainer to develop safe exercise
strategies. Meets twice per week. Limited to
6 participants.

Basketball League (Early Spring Only)
Begins March 3 (register by 2/28)
Division 1 (Kindergarten)
Division 2 (1st and 2nd grade)
Volunteer coaches are needed (please
indicate your interest on the registration
form). Teams will be notified of their
specific game times, which will vary during
the season on Saturdays at RY between 1-4pm.
Selected coaches will meet on 2/29 at 6pm.
