Pre-Registration
Monday, July 18th - pre-registration for RETURNING
SWIMMERS ONLY has begun - you should receive a
postcard in the mail with the information…if not it
will be posted shortly on the web. Payments can be
made over the phone, at the desk, online [if still a
Full Member], or you can mail a check.
If you don’t plan to return to the program for the
2011-2012 season please email Coach Erik. This is
an important part of our planning process please
notify us of your intentions.

Evaluations
(Returning and New Swimmers)
New swimmers are invited to join
the Ridley Area YMCA Swim Team, where our goal is
keeping the sport fun while emphasizing the
importance of goal setting, proper stroke technique
and a good work ethic. The evaluation process is as
follows: 8s swim one lap of each stroke, 9-12 will
swim two laps of each stroke, 13 & up will swim four
laps of each stroke. Your child’s age is determined
as of December 1st of the current year (Ex. if
he/she turns 9 on December 2 they are an 8 & under).
Free evaluations and swimmers only need to attend
one session. Please register at the Ridley Area YMCA
Front Desk or visit www.cyedc.org to register
online.
Returning swimmers in Levels 1, 2,
3, 4, or 5 are encouraged to attend swim evaluations
for the 2011-2012 Ridley Area YMCA Swim Team season.
The evaluation process is as follows: 7 & under will
swim one lap of each stroke, 8 -11 will swim two
laps of each stroke and 12 & up will swim four laps
of each stroke. There is no cost for the evaluation
and swimmers only need to attend one session. Please

www.cyedc.org to register online.
