Briarcliffe Swim Club is hosting the 2^nd Annual "Laps for Life" swimathon to raise money to fight cancer. This event is being held in memory of Craig Nelson, a former employee, swim coach, and dear friend of Briarcliffe.

> Coach Lindsay is going to participate in her first Triathlon.
> Nick Collelorui was a Ridley High School Graduate who lost his battle to Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma just over a year ago.
> Did you know that every five minutes someone in the United States learns that they have leukemia, lymphoma or myeloma?
> Coach Lindsay is trying to raise $4,600.00

Saturday, April 19, 2008 - First-Ever Fishing Tournament
9:30-10am (Event meeting at site)
10am - 3pm (Tournament)
at the Newlin Grist Mill
219 Cheyney Road
Glen Mills, PA
(Rt. 1 & Cheyney Road)

This event will give parents and their children a chance to work together and have FUN, while catching the BIG ONE! Our own FISHING JIM will be there to help you with knots and make the perfect cast! Prizes for tagged fish. Trophies will be awarded for multiple categories.

Tournament Fee: $5 per person
Limited to the first 75 participants registered
All participants receive a FREE event T-shirt

September 30, 2007 - Swim Clinic featuring Kate Ziegler and Josh Davis
Every participant:
> Learns champion performance techniques on all four strokes (in-water and
   dry-land group instruction)
> Understands how the body, mind and heart affect swimming
> Trains with the world’s top swimmers
> Asks questions, gets an autograph and photo
> Receives a breakout! T-shirt, poster, DVDs and other souvenirs
