Employment Opportunities
The Community YMCA of Eastern Delaware County
is seeking responsible, caring, and energetic individuals to
work with campers ages 5-14 years old. Primary responsibilities
included camper supervision and ensuring a safe, healthy,
enjoyable and beneficial experience for all campers. Secondary
responsibilities include planning, leading and supervising
activities such as games, athletics, arts & crafts and more.
Day Camp Counselor:
Serve as a role model for children ages 6-12 years old; ensure
the safety and FUN camp experience for campers assigned to
his/her camp group; plan, lead and enjoy games, crafts, sports
and other activities with campers
Little Explorers Counselor:
Serve as a role model for children ages 5-6 years old; ensure
the safety and FUN camp experience for campers assigned to
his/her camp group; plan, lead and enjoy games, crafts, sports
and other activities with campers
Sports Camp Counselor:
Serve as a role model for children ages 6-12 years old; ensure
the safety and FUN camp experience for campers assigned to
his/her camp group; plan, lead and enjoy sport activities with a
focus on teamwork and effort
Specialty Camp Counselor:
Serve as a role model for children ages 6-14 years old; ensure
the safety and FUN camp experience for campers assigned to
his/her camp group; plan, lead and enjoy fine and performing
arts, cooking, science, or other unique interests with campers.
Each position listed above requires experience working with children, and the
applicant must be least 18 years old.
