Camp Registration
Important
Information
- Register your child for camp
EARLY
- Registrations are taken in-person
ONLY at the Lansdowne YMCA and the
Ridley Area YMCA
- Those applying for Financial
Assistance MUST pre-register their
child for camp along with the required
$35 per week deposit.
- Financial Assistance does not
reserve a spot for your child unless
the weekly deposits are made in
advance.
- Registrations are accepted for
full sessions only on a first come,
first serve basis. Space in camp
is limited.
WHAT
DO YOU NEED TO REGISTER FOR CAMP?
- Emergency contact names, phone
numbers and e-mail addresses
- Recent photo of camper for files
- Health insurance policy/details
- Knowledge of camper’s general
medical history and current medications
Deposits
A $35 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT per child/per
session is required to hold his/her
spot in camp or a $70 NON-REFUNDABLE
DEPOSIT for a two week camp program
or Summer Quest. Deposits must be paid
for each session at time of registration.
No registration will be accepted without
payment of deposits.
Membership
Requirements
All campers are required to be members
of the Community YMCA at the time of
registration.
Refunds
Deposits and camp fees are non-refundable.
Credit will only be considered for medical
reasons accompanied by a note from a
physician. These cases will be dealt
with on an individual basis.
Camp
Hours
Camp programs run from 9am-6pm. Early
morning care is available for your child
from 7-9am. There is an additional $25
fee per camper/week for all members.
Camp
at Your Child's Grade Level
All of our camps are offered according
to your child’s grade level. When selecting
camps, please choose those camps that
correspond to the grade your child will
enter in the fall of 2012.

- We carefully select and screen
(reference checks, child abuse clearances
and criminal record checks)
- Complete, extensive pre-camp
training including basic first aid,
CPR, child abuse prevention and
recognition, program planning, age
appropriate activities, and character
development awareness

Orientations
We highly encourage parents to attend
the
summer camp orientations. Our camp
staff will give important information
that you will need to prepare your camper
for a successful summer and as a parent,
you will better understand the camp
your child will be attending.
YMCA
CARES
Financial Assistance Program
Thanks to our Annual Support Campaign
contributors, financial assistance is
available. Assistance is given on a
first come, first served basis and is
determined by need. Financial assistance
is limited and may vary depending on
the camp program. APPLY EARLY!!! Camp
Financial Assistance forms can be obtained
at either the Lansdowne or Ridley Area
YMCA Front Desk or
downloaded from our website.
Camp
Payment Options
Option One - Weekly Payments
Balance due after original deposits.
Payments due one week prior (7 days)
to your child attending camp. Camp fees
increase if payments are made after
the final payment due date. We accept
cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX,
personal checks, and money orders.
Option Two - Bank Draft
Available only to
Full Privilege Members
registering for a minimum of six camp
sessions. A $35 per child deposit is
required upon registering. Your Visa,
MasterCard, Discover or AMEX will then
be billed monthly.
